The variations of our spiritual life. Wanting growth, fighting stagnation; Wanting Holiness, fighting temptation; Wars of the spiritual kind... For our very souls. Oh what turmoil and strife Can try to consume and discourage Our spiritual life- God is patient, He is unchanging and Faithful to carry us When we feel unsure. He is our strength Our rock and fortress, The Redeemer of our souls. He is an awesome God Of love and forgiveness. The Holy shed BloodOf Jesus Saves my life. He lifts my head, When sadness and sorrow I am feeling. His love fills my soul With spiritual gladness and joy. Oh, God of all Comfort And Holy Wisdom; Instill in me today The Hunger and Thirst, The Yearning for Your Holy And Powerful Way. "And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in that Way; wicked fools will not go about on it. No lion will be there; they will not be found there.But only the redeemed will walk there, and the ransomed of the Lord will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads.Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away." Isaiah 35:8-10.
