Revelation 1
1The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

2Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

3Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

4John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

5And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

6And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

7Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

8I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

9I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

10I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

11Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

12And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

13And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

14His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

15And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

16And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

17And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

18I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

19Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;

20The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

Why Worry ....is not LIFE more? Jan 16, 2006 5:50 am

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow.

They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own" "

Laying aside the PAST!!! Jan 15, 2006 9:30 pm

I know you all have heard the story of the *blind beggar name Bartimaeus who sat in the dirt beside the road near Jericho.
Just thinkin about this.... In spite of many demands to stop calling out to Jesus when Jesus was passing in a crowd, Bartimaeus continued to call louder and louder until Jesus stopped and told the people to call Bartimaeus to come to him. The people told Bartimaeus, "It is O.K., Jesus is calling you to come to go to him. Now the Scripture says that Bartimaeus threw aside is garment or wrap, stood up, and went to see Jesus. Bartimaeus threw aside his dirty garment which he probably used to cover his head and shoulders and to protect him from the dusty road.

So just like today here in our time, some people don't want to admitt that they are *blind or that they are setting in the dirt beside the road of life.

Others, would want Jesus to come to them on their own terms. Others want to hold on to that ragged, filthy garment that they have used for protecction to cover their head, face, and shoulders from the dust stirred up by others that have walked or rode past. It has been their security blanket, their defense mechanisms. It has been their traditions, their self deceptions, and their false religious beliefs. It may have been their family or friends that they have been holding on to. It may have been the emotional wounds that others have inflicted upon them. Bartimaeus had to lay aside the past to go to Jesus to receive his healing.

Are you willing to lay aside your past to receive your healing? For it is written: Jesus said, "So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple"
(Luke 14:33).

P.S. A mustard seed is about the size of a pencil dot on a page. It is not even so much the amount of our faith as it is what we do with it. We must act upon it as Bartimaeus did.

the Word says that Bartimaeus received his sight and followed Jesus. If God werre to heal you, what would you do? Would you be grateful enough to follow Jesus or would you just go about your own business?

What is Hindering you??? Jan 15, 2006 2:25 pm

What Hinders Us
HEBREWS 12:1-3

Because God has complete knowledge and wisdom, He knows exactly how each of
His children is to live. (Romans 11:33) We, however, struggle to figure it
out.

Doubt is one reason we miss what God has planned. We wonder whether He is
really interested in our problems and question the practicality of His
solutions. Feeling unworthy will also cause us to stumble. Look what happens
when God reveals wonderful scenarios for our future. Thinking we are
undeserving, we refuse to believe Him. Busyness often leads to drifting from
godly ways. Because we are too tied up in other things, we stop asking what
God wants for us, and we make mistakes. In all three cases, we miss His
will.

Fear comes in two forms to trip us up. One is our anxiety that God might ask
us to do something we don't want to do. The other is our apprehension that
we will fail at whatever He gives us to accomplish. Both kinds of disquiet
cloud our judgment and hinder our ability to understand and follow His plan.
When we continue in our thoughts or actions even

When we know they are wrong
by God's standards, we are committing willful sin. Such transgression
prevents us from living in the center of the Father's purposes. Our holy God
will not tolerate such sin.

Replace these five obstacles with the following truths. The cross of Christ
reveals both God's trustworthiness and our worth to Him. It establishes
Jesus' importance in our lives, emphasizes the perfection of God's plans,
and points to our freedom from slavery to sin.

You cannot pray effectively if you have a root of BITTEERness! Jan 15, 2006 5:21 am

Holding on to the past that cannot be changed is not mentally healthy. Love keeps no record of wrongs. It refers again to the attitudes of love.

1Corinthians 13:4-5 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

Holding a grudge does more psychological damage to us than to the offender. It means we do not understand God’s forgiveness and also we can not pray effectively to Him while the root of bitterness is there. It interferes with our spiritual development and our relationship with God. The Spirit withdraws from evil. Hatred and malice, which arise from an unforgiving attitude, prevent the Spirit from dwelling within us or working effectively towards our perfection. Hence we need to clean out from our house the old leaven of malice and wickedness so that the new leaven of the Holy Spirit can dwell within us. We rend our hearts, which is symbolic of repentance.

Joel 2:13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil. (KJV)

Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. (KJV)

It is very easy to react according to our emotions, but we should be aware of our own shortcomings. People will offend us and we need to learn how to deal with that in God’s way. When we repent God forgives us and it is forgotten.
The concept of forgiveness is central to the relationship we develop with God from prayer.

Forgiving others in order to achieve forgiveness from God. The flow of mercy from repentance is also examined. Forgiveness in the Bible is examined. The forgiveness of enemies is also shown. The parables in relation to forgiveness are also examined.

Forgiveness then is actually an act of surrender. We surrender our right to hold another person accountable for what he or she did. When we forgive we stop holding bad feelings against another. We let go of bitterness and hurt. Forgiveness does not come naturally to us but we can do it with God’s help. It takes time to develop mercy. The more bitterish we become, the harder it is to forgive. But forgiveness is crucial for emotional and spiritual health.

A critical aspect to the understanding of forgiveness is that all acts that require forgiveness are acts that are offences against the law of God. As each of us has sinned then each of us is in need of the forgiveness of God. David covered this aspect in Psalm 51:4.

Psalm 51:4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
Those whose sins are forgiven are blessed.

Psalm 32:1 A Psalm of David, Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered

God will forgive us as we forgive others.

Mark 11:25-26 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Luke 11:4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

The Lord bless thee and keep thee~

A farmer owned an old donkey. One day, while leaning in to get a drink, the donkey fell into the farmer's well. The farmer heard the donkey braying loudly and followed the sound to its source -- and found the donkey standing at the bottom of the well.

After carefully assessing the situation, the farmer sympathized with the old donkey, but the well was deep, and there was no way to haul the donkey out of it. The farmer called his neighbors, and asked them to come give him a hand - and to bring dirt and shovels. The neighboring farmers came, with dirt and shovels in their trucks. Neither the donkey nor the well was worth the trouble of saving. The only thing they could think to do was to bury the old donkey in the well and put him out of his misery. It was a shame, but there was nothing else that could be done. As the farmers shoveled dirt into the well, the old donkey was hysterical!

The donkey brayed louder than ever when the dirt hit his back, but the farmers kept shoveling.

Then the farmers noticed what the donkey was doing. Every time a shovel load of dirt landed on the donkey's back, he brayed loudly -- but then he would shake it off and step up!

As the dirt was shoveled down on top of him, the donkey continued.

The farmers and the old donkey got into a rhthym -- the farmers would drop a shovel load of dirt down the well, and the donkey would shake it off and step up. No matter how heavy the dirt, or how distressing the situation seemed, the old donkey fought panic and just kept right on shaking it off and stepping up!

Finally, battered and exhausted, the old donkey stepped triumphantly over the wall of the well! What seemed like it would bury him actually helped him ... all because of the manner in which he handled his adversity. Instead of letting it bury him, the dirt became his road to freedom.

That's life! If we face our problems and respond to them positively, and refuse to give in to panic, bitterness, or self-pity, then the adversities that seem likely to bury us usually have within them the very real potential to help us.

When loads of dirt are being dumped on you, just think: are you letting it bury you, or are you using it to climb upwards? Shake it Off & Step Up!

GOD IS MANIFESTING HIMSELF ON BIG CHURCH!!! Jan 13, 2006 1:39 pm
770 Views

The Scriptures inform us that "...all of us have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Some of us are currently doing so. Some of us are in a state of denial, in which we think that our sins will never be exposed and we will never have to give an account to God or to those we have hurt in our natural family or our spiritual family. But as we turn to the life of Joseph, we will discover that God has his ways of holding all of us accountable for our sins, for...

Time does not erase sin!!!

Listen to me in the name of Jesus , God is calling his people out NOW. GOD says to Big church!!!, He is manifesting more than ever!

"I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you" - Genesis 12:3

DO YOU WONDER WHY THERE ARE SO MANY LIES? Worse yet, people BELIEVING them? God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false 2 Thessalonians 2:11

For thus sayeth the Lord:

The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer. 1 Peter 4

He is opening the eyes of HIS children. The blind shall stay blind for they will not repent. His WORD, word word, God's word has come forth and His presence is being manifested here at big church. The enemy is mad for we have taken the blog site and given God ALL the glory! Rejoice I say Rejoice!!!! God is calling you to come forth to shine and to you he is calling you to repent, repent repent!!! He is warning His children, NOW!!!!! When He said my Sword is coming and coming down hard he is not joking, God will not be mocked nor His word changed, for we serve a God that does not change He is the same today , yesterday and forever more. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh shall from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit shall from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

if you sow to the flesh, corruption is what you will reap. Again, we are speaking of an eternal kind of corruption, being cut off from God, with the darkness and despair that that entails. That too becomes true of us as we make choices today to sow to the flesh. Again, outward circumstances are not the primary concern here. The lives of people who sow to the flesh are not guaranteed to fall apart. The world is filled with arrogant and selfish people who seem to get on just fine in life.In the bible Paul is talks about a corruption that is going on inside people, the godlessness and the darkness that is true of eternal corruption. Same here on big church, If we are looking only at the outward things we may be confused by what seems to be the harvest of sowing to the flesh. But,
"Do not be deceived, God is not mocked…." The bitter harvest of sowing to the flesh is certain.

"The LORD says to my Lord:
'Sit at My right hand,
Until I make Thine enemies a footstool for Thy feet.'
The LORD will stretch forth Thy strong scepter from Zion, saying,
'Rule in the midst of Thine enemies.'"

The intense spiritual warfare is not with flesh on here but with the powers of darkness on big church is a well designed smoke screen for this
nefarious behavior. Take note the enemy is maddddddddd!!!!! Gods anger is coming forth and His sword is coming down Hard...........spoken loud and clear to tthose who have ears to hear and the eyes to see!!!!
God is not mocked. Whatsoever we sow, we shall reap. Those who sow to
destruction will reap destruction.

It is the story of a man who met Jesus in the worst way and left in the best way. Jan 13, 2006 6:09 am

TAKE A JOURNEY WITH ME INTO THE BOOK OF LUKE...

The story in (Luke 8:26-40) is one of the most thrilling stories in all the New Testament. It is the story of a man who met Jesus in the worst way and left in the best way. It is a story that exemplifies what Satan will do with a life and what Jesus can do for a life. It is a story that illustrates the unpleasant life without Christ and the happiness of a life in Christ.

THIS STORY IS ONE THAT MAGNIFIES GOD’S AMAZING GRACE. LET’S CONSIDER *THREE IMPORTANT SPIRITUAL TRUTHS FOUND IN THIS STORY.

FIRST, SIN WILL BRING YOU DOWN.
“They sailed to the region of the Gerasenes, which is across the lake from Galilee. When Jesus stepped ashore, he was met by a demon-possessed man from the town. For a long time this man had not worn clothes or lived in a house, but had lived in the tombs” (Luke 8:26-27).
This story is a classic example of the presence and power of sin and Satan in a life.

When we consider where he lived, we see how sin and Satan will degrade a life. He did not live in a warm, comfortable house, but lived in the cold, dreary tombs. You could say that he went from the front yard to the graveyard.

Sin will take the innocent and make them guilty. Sin will take the pure and make them impure. Sin will take the clean and make them unclean. Sin will take the moral and make them immoral. Sin will take the decent and make them indecent. Sin will take the good and make them bad.

Contrary to the picture the world paints, sin always lowers a person and never lifts that person.
SECONDLY~JESUS CAN LIFT US UP~

“When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell at his feet, shouting at the top of his voice, “What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don’t torture me!” For Jesus had commanded the evil spirit to come out of the man. Many times it had seized him, and though he was chained hand and foot and kept under guard, he had broken his chains and had been driven by the demon into solitary places” (Luke 8:28-29).

This man who was living in sins domination, experienced transformation. Jesus freed him from Satan’s stronghold.

Jesus commanded the demons to come out of the man, setting him free from the power of sin and Satan. What others could not do for him, Jesus was able to accomplish.

Satan is powerful, but JESUS IS ALL POWERFUL Satan is strong, but Jesus is stronger! Satan may lower a life, but Jesus can lift that life!

THIRDLY-JESUS HAS A MISSION FOR ALL OF US, Return Home Tell ALL~

“The man from whom the demons had gone out begged to go with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying, “Return home and tell how much God has done for you.” So the man went away and told all over town how much Jesus had done for him” (Luke 8:38-39).

This man was saved by Jesus and then sent by Jesus. There was something that Jesus needed him to do.

You see once our lives our transformed, Jesus has a mission for us. He wants us to “return home and tell how much God has done for us.” Praise God Praise God!!!

We are to tell the story of God’s love and His ability to save the lost. Others need to know what Jesus can do for them and God has sent each of us to tell them.

God could have commissioned angels to deliver this glorious message, but He chose to us to deliver the message.

THE LORDS MESSAGE TODAY IS THIS TO ALL OF US, AND YOU AND YOU AND YOU!!!!!!!

If sin has grip on your life…if sin has you down…Jesus can life you up. He can transform you life. He can deliver you from the grip of Satan and provide you with peace, hope, and a new direction.

Come now and prostrate yourself down before the Lord and He will life you up.

Jesus lift our Spirit:) A prayer from me to ALL of you!!! on Big church!!!! Jan 12, 2006 7:56 am

Relax and let God be the only Person on your mind while you read this
Prayer. Friends, brothers and sister's.... that Pray together, stay together.

Let's pray...

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank You for this day. I Thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for I have sinned. I ask now for Your forgiveness. Keep me safe from all danger and harm. Let me start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude.

Let me make the best of each and every day and give my best in all that is put before me. Clear my mind that I can hear from You. Broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. Let me continue to see sin through God's eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when I sin, let me repent, and confess with my mouth my wrong doing, and receive the forgiveness of God. And when this world closes in on me, let me remember to slip away and find a quiet place to pray. It's the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can't pray, the Holy Spirit will intercede on my behalf. You listen to my heart. Please Continue to use me and others on here, to do Thy Will. Continue to bless me and others that we may be a blessing to others. Refine us O Father, pourge us so we are clean for your will and your ways. Keep me and others strong that we may help the weak. When we are weak they shall help us, O Lord.

Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those that are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who refuse to share a word from You.

I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those that will only read this and not speak this aloud in their own lives. I pray for those that don't believe. But I thank you that I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers on Big church For each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes, that they are out of debt & all their needs are met.

I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than YOU,GOD. Every Battle is in the Master's hand for You to fight for us , let us stand back and watch as your hand is brought forth, thank You Jesus!

I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willingly.
This is my prayer to you Lord and for all of us on here in the mighty and precious name of Jesus!!!!

The Sword of the Lord is coming !!!!! Jan 11, 2006 7:21 am
800 Views

I know some of you are aware of what is going on in my home, it is a great division as I read a letter of hate from my mother this morning it was nothing but of the enemy,,,,this was what the Lord said loud and clear as I sat at the table ,,,.....

THE SWORD OF THE LORD IS COMING AND COMING DOWN HARD!!!
This is My sword, this is not man's sword, this is My golden sword. The ways you have been using My weapons, the methods that you have been using in the past, you are to throw them away because I am giving you My sword now and the old ways of doing things will not do. The old methods will not be acceptable to Me anymore because I am doing a new thing. Do not look to the yesterdays but look to the future because I am doing a new thing and this new way is not the old. This new way is new and you must throw away the old ways of doing things and take up My sword because My sword is made of pure gold and is purer and is mighty. If you wield it the captives will be set free, the chains will be broken and the healings will be manifest because it will not be by might, nor by power, but by My wonderful Holy Spirit. It is by Him, it is by Him that this new wave will be brought forth, it is by Him that the King of Kings and Lord of Lords will ride again. In this next wave I am requiring those who take up this golden sword to be refined, to be pure, to have all the dross refined in the fire because if you take this sword and there is secret sin in your life this sword will kill you. This next wave is no joke. It is not a laughing matter. All those who do not want to give up their sin and are fearful, like Gideon's men, stand back, because I am calling men and women in these next days that will allow me to refine them, that will allow me to chasten, but not with anger because I am a loving God. I am a God full of mercy but I am serious as the time is short. The bridegroom is most anxious for His bride, so those of you that will, let Me refine you and come and take up that golden sword for I will use you in ways, I will use you in ways that you can't imagine, but I must purify you first."

The Sword of the Lord is Coming!!!!!
