Just So there's No Misunderstanding.. Dec 11, 2011 5:33 pm

..I wanted to make something clear. We know that John the Baptist came in the spirit and power of Elijah. Today, some will come on here in the spirit and power of those under whose usernames they got kicked off of here as, and I will not interact with any incarnations of gordy, jeremiah, donny, M & P, etc...ad infinitum,ad nauseum.
I come here to share what i've learned of the scriptures with the sincere christians on here, and I don't have time for the divisive spirits of the aforementioned characters. I'm also here to support those who stand for the truth.
If I don't answer your public or private queries-it's because you're probably one of those I mentioned above. In other words, you need not waste your time or mine. i've already given you all of my attention you're ever going to get.

..there are many false teachers in the world today, and one of the most perverse and pervasive teachings is what is known as the "word of faith," or "word-faith(wf)" teaching. Many young
Christians are deceived, I was one, and the church I used to attend was full of others fooled by this dangerous and unscriptural body of doctrine. Kenneth Hagin is considered the father of the movement, and I used to believe he was right, for his books are chock full of scriptures. I now know that even a million scriptures, wrongly interpreted, don't make a true doctrine. One of the main teachings of wf is that if you just pray in the name of Jesus, you'll receive whatever you ask for, and further that it's ok to pray outside of the will of God.
I John 5:13-15 says "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye believe on the name of the Son of God. And this is the confidence we have in him, that, if we ask any thing ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him." I capitalized the key words that show the requirement for receiving the petitions we desired of him.
John 14:13, says "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
John 16:23, 24 says "And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full."
Based on my my understanding of these scriptures, Jesus wanted us to know that "in his name" was also "according to his will."

...this its the last time i'll respond to you. You defend gordy, and associate yourself with him. So be it. gordy is the person who said that Paul was a liar, and that he wrote lies. I choose to believe that the bible is the inerrant word of God-ALL of it. You and gordy go ahead and believe whatever ungodly nonsense you want. May the Lord bless you both according to your works.

Cult Leaders... Apr 26, 2011 7:28 pm

...seem to be trying to launch themselves from BC. How can you recognize them? They think they're NEVER wrong, and will refuse to make amends when they've offended a brother or sister. They think that anyone who disagrees with them is of the devil-when, in fact-they might want to check their own daddy. They seem to really know the scriptures, but what comes out of them is not love, but hate. There are other ways to recognize them, but these, I think, are sufficient.
I remember when gordy tried to start his little cult, by stating that each member needed to acquire 12 disciples. Anyone remember that? I do.
I remember when jeremiah stated that God didn't know everything. Does anyone really believe that by saying that, he wasn't saying he know better than God? I don't.
People-please choose your mentors wisely. There are any number of false teachers and false prophets out there. There are more than a few here.
Be blessed.

...I hardly come in here any more anyways, so I might as well take some time off. To those of you who actually seem to be Christians, I pray the Lord will bless you-even in here. To gordy, jeremiah, melinda, and others of your ilk-the Lord WILL bless you according to your works. In the most mighty, holy, and precious name of Jesus, amen.

...and all the ignoramuses who are reading her posts and believing her lies and false innuendoes....You bring shame to the name of Jesus Christ, and I hope you all at least consider the wrongs you've done.

My wife NEVER had a relationship with Rocky while we were separated-EVER! They talked on the phone for two days before my wife and I even met-not while we were separated as melinda implied. She is a liar and an attacker of the brethren-the fruit, i'm sure-of here socializing with gordy and jeremiah. you who read and believe her crap are partakers in her evil deeds, and will all answer for her idle and untrue words.

Shame on you, melinda, and shame on all of you who believe her falsehoods.

Church on Sunday... Dec 13, 2010 5:45 pm

..was awesome-as usual. Our pastor preached on purity, and how we should be pure in all we do. I've never thought of this site as a church, but I know that all believers are the body of the church, and we should represent our head-who is Christ-wherever we are. In other words-Christianity is not like a suit we can take off so we can be worldly on the internet or anywhere else.
If I ever start making crude sexual comments or jokes, I hope a brother or sister will point out my error-with relevant scripture. I won't be offended. I've done just that a time or two, and the responses were that I was being judgmental, or critical. I don't care. All of us here who purport to be Christian are either honoring or dishonoring Jesus in all we post. We have a responsibility to use the scriptures to correct each other when necessary, and I am saddened when I see those who leave impure thoughts of others on their blogs. If we ignore what we know to be wrong, we become partakers in of it. When we do this, we honor man over God. Be blessed.
