I am a bit of a romantic. Originally from the Midwest, I still have a strong sense of family, life-long friendships, and spontaneous fun. I relocated to the Pacific Northwest after living all over the country and parts of Asia in my work with the Coast Guard and Habitat for Humanity. My friends would say that my sharp wit, risqué sense of humor, and boisterous laughter make it hard to keep a straight face when I'm around. Recently I've gone on vacations as a chaperone for adults with developmental disabilities to Disneyland and Las Vegas. Last year I lived in Keflavik, Iceland for 4 months and then traveled through Europe for 4 months. It was bliss. Finding the right travel partner would be even better.
I love life - little children, old people, and everyone in between. My Christian faith is pretty important to me...but don't let that scare you off. The person I'm looking for - to be my friend, lover and mate - is someone who also loves life. Whether it's hiking in the Cascades, going out for pizza, walking along the beach, traveling through Europe or simply holding my hand....you will embrace each experience as part of the whole tapestry of life. The richness of life's journey begins with an open and positive heart.

To give you SOME idea of the man who could capture my heart, he would be: witty, funny, intelligent, an adventurous spirit, well traveled or open to travel, spontaneous, good with his hands, independent (to a degree), Christian, faithful, respectful, honest, and possessing a heart for service to others.
