I do not respond to everyone who contacts me here. People who are abusing this site, please keep going.
Where do you find yourself in life these days? Do you want to be more like the One who loves us? Does His love inspire you to want to serve Him in ways that require more faith, stepping out, prayer and trust?
As of the earthquake in Haiti, that's where I am. Compelled to do more.
I'm interested in teaching, people, ministry, missions, reading, swimming, hiking and cooking.
I am curious enough to continue trying new things in life.
My Ideal Person:
A mature, ministry-oriented person may be a good fit for me but you don't need to be perfect. Just comfortable with who you are, and even OK with your flaws.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I never want to stop loving Jesus. I want to grow in that, in ways that create more fruit for Him in my life.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Psalms 139, 103, 34, 71. James 3:17-18, Zephaniah 3:17, 2 Peter 1:2-8.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Thinking of times when I've been approached by men who had nice qualities and nice looks but weren't Christians.. well, honestly there's nothing to build on. Here's an example: I had a conversation with a non-Christian friend whose culture is very marriage and family-oriented. I told him I am interested in going to Argentina and working in a prison ministry there. His answer, "Say wh- whaaaat?" There's a huge communication and values gap, people. Don't date an unbeliever! Our thinking is upside down to them. They simply can't understand it.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
Grew up in rural New Hampshire and have been to Canada (Toronto..great city!), Mexico, Eastern Europe, India and England. Traveled across the US in my 20's. Toronto is one of my favorite places (did I say that already?), also Niagra Falls, and beautiful places God has blessed us with here in New England. I hope to travel to Haiti and South America.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
At church- many things. Not at church-camping, hiking, canoeing, running, singing, writing.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
This will be easier to describe as we communicate. Thanks!
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I'm pursuing hospital chaplaincy. I spend time with people dealing with health problems and asking questions of life. I completed some theological studies in May 2007. I also want to do more mission work. I have previously done short term mission work overseas and Christian ministry in Boston.
