My Ideal Person:
I am not interested in dating at this time. I am certainly not looking for a husband. I juggle work with taking care of my home and my 18 year old special needs son.

I am open to making new friends as I enjoy chatting and blogging here at BC. That's basically the only reason I am here. In fact, if you wish to get to know more about me, check out my blog.

If you immediately think I am your soulmate... You are dead wrong! If you think I have money, you are also dead wrong!

I like friends who are devoted to God but also recognize that just because we are Christian, we aren't perfect but merely saved. If I was so perfect then I wouldn't need Jesus oh so very much.

If you are perfect and into judging others, then pass me on by. I remember where I came from and who got me here... it was God, not my own doing.

We are all in different stages of our walks with God. I am not going to beat someone upside the head with a Bible if you do something I don't agree with.

I'd rather get to know you and have a repetoire and then we can discuss our belief system in God more deeply when there is some sense of a friendship relationship there. Jesus is all about relationship and I think He wins more souls with being open, heartfelt and sincere than being a spouting bumper sticker.

Jesus has saved me from much in this life and I have much to be thankful for. God rocks!

Some of my favorite verses come Isaiah 61. And in James 1, I always find encouragement amidst the trials because let's face it, the world is going to get a lot worse before Jesus returns. I personally think it's pretty awesome that our Daddy in heaven wants us to be prepared.

I enjoy power praise music as well as contemporary Christian, jazz and classical music. I like music that is passionate and textured. I adore music that is passionate and emotional.

I love reading as well as expressing myself through the written word. Poetry is extremely close to my heart. He Wishes for Cloths of Heaven by William Butler Yeats is one of my favorites. I also admire more contemporary poets such as Maya Angelou. Phenomenal Woman is a work of genius in my book. Shel Silverstein's humor shines brightly in his work and guarrantees me a smile and a laugh.

Photography is another one of my passions. I am still old school with my fully manual world's oldest Pentax but the world is pushing me into the digital age. I can develop and print my own black and white and have mastered the technique of hand coloring my b/w shots with oil pastels.

There is something about snapping that perfect shot. When the shutter clicks it's like God has allowed you to capture a glimpse of His greatness. It's better than.... ummm chocolate!! LOL

I have an offbeat sense of humor. A cheerful heart is good medicine. I consider myself eccentric for two reasons: A) it sounds like I have more money than the pennies stuck in my sofa cushions and they lock up crazy people but leave eccentric people alone. *insert cheesy smile here*

I know a smattering of various languages... just enough to get me arrested around the world. Two years of Spanish back in the dark ages of high school and now I can order at Taco Bell! LOL
