I'm creative in many ways. Enjoy expressing myself through the written word, and touch. Everything else falls into place from there.
I find a great deal of personal joy in my life at this stage. Having emerged from the clouds and storms of the past, I only anticipate my life moving forward along a rich and full course. A recent quote that I've taken to heart: "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away." (anonymous).
My Ideal Person:
Conversations/emails to start, leading to a casual meeting. If we hit it off, we'll take it a day at a time.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I was raised in the Christian church. Decided I was ready for baptism at the age of 12.
I've been through a number of soul crushing experiences in life (as have others, I know this is not unique to me), and had it not been for my faith (and supporting family and friends) I would not still be standing today. I continue to learn, every day, of the ways I can nurture myself and grow stronger in my walk of faith. Once I take care of me, then I become an even better nurturer to others.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
My favorite is John 3:16.
Many of the verse which offer encouragement and hope are wonderful as well.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Because I have tried the non-Christian ones. I believe if two committed, loving, people share a common faith they have a much better chance of succeeding in life together. When THEY can succeed, then they can help and encourage others to do the same.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
Central Illinois, the flat farmland that abounds there. I've been to many of the states, lived for two years in Germany, and have been to the Bahamas during a Carnival cruise a number of years ago.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I write! Usually start my day early, get to projects on computer, talk on phone with my best friend, manage a meal or two during the day. Sometimes nap (yes!), and always: think, think, think!
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I wish to make a living through my pursuit of writing, enough so that I may purchase my own home and still be able to travel.
I have a home church back in Illinois, that I miss terribly. It is small, and I have always felt loved and accepted there, so I would hope to find that wherever I call 'home'. Being new to Vermont I am looking.
