I am 36 and divorced without children. I chose to take some time off from the dating world for a few years. Primarily I wanted to take a good look at my life because I knew deep inside that I had lost sight of who I was and had become a person I did not want to know. Most people go away from a failed marriage blaming the other person but I clearly understood that I had my part of the failure (probably the biggest part) and that I needed to step back for a while just to get back to the basics.
I spent time getting in shape both physically and internally. I love who I am and at 36 I feel better emotionally and physically than I did in my early 20's and I am ready to take on life and the world with a committed partner.
The first thing you should know about me is that I am faithful to God. If your a Christian but feel that serious commitment is not your cup of tea than we are most likely not a match. I love God and I believe he sent his son to die on the Cross. While I don't force my faith on others (because Christ is not forceful or overbearing) I do confess, profess, and live my life as an open Christian. My "Not Of This World" on the back of my little Honda CRV tells it all! I pride myself in being the first of 2 cars to sport the saying. I've always been a bit of a rebel that way and I enjoy that others know where I stand... But you won't just see a sticker on my car, you'll see it in my attitude and everything that I am. You'll know that while I'm not perfect that I clearly understand that I am saved by grace... and that I am committed to the cause!
I love to have fun and I know when to be serious. I pride myself in being a role model to my nieces and nephew, and I pride myself in standing up to care for my elderly parents when push came to shove and my father became ill.
I enjoy boogie boarding in the summer, camping, hanging out with family and friendds, bbq's, going to concerts, comedy shows, movies, romantic dinners and more.
Best way to get to know me is to have a simple conversation. I am very forth coming and open in my communication style. Right up front you know what I'm about and my intentions.
True I am looking for a Middle Eastern Christian. Some might ask why since I am not Middle Eastern. The fact is that I've spent a lot of time in my early years with Middle Eastern friends and dates. I'm better adjusted to this culture. That does not mean that I don't cherish my own culture. I am just greatly attracted, acclimated, and fine tuned for an awesome Christian Middle Eastern mate.
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for a Middle Eastern man who is committed to God, honest, secure in his ability. I'm not looking for an oil baby, or someone that is filthy rich. I make a decent income and I am not in need of a man who has if all financially. With that said, I am still looking for stability. He should be financially able to handle the basics of life, Emotionally secure, and take care of his physical health. I want to grow old with the man of my dreams! He has to be the type who would swim through shark infested water to bring me a glass of lemonade. He should enjoy a woman who while on the surface is very independent, recognizes the difference in roles between a man and a woman. He should appreciate the fact that I want to commit to him in a bit of an old fashioned sense.
You should be affectionate and caring but still masculine. I promise I'll never ask you to get in touch with your feminine side. That whole theory of men having a feminine side just creeps me out!
You should not expect me to sleep with you before marriage. Don't assume I don't like sex... Just understand that the fantasy that I have for my future husband is soley for my future husband.
You should be fun, active, and crazy. I'm fine if a roller coaster is not your game but in most cases you should be willing to do new and fun things from time to time.
hmmm I guess I could go on... but I'd better save a little something for our conversations.
If you are a Middle Eastern Christian, down to earth kind of guy... Send me a hello.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I am extremely committed to a spirit fulfilled life and my faith is extremely important. I'm not dogmatic when it comes to denominations. I am committed to Christ. In my old town I used to work a great deal in my church. In my new town I'm looking to get back into this type of commitment.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Luke 12:6-12
Revelations 2:8-11
John 3:16 (who does not hold dear the voice of salvation?)
Revelations 3:10
Mathew 11:28-30
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Christianity is important to me because I know and believe in that the Jesus the son of God really did die for my sins and that the Gospel is truth and that even though I am imperfect that God designed a way to connect my soul back to him eternally. In knowing this I am sowing my life as such that I can enter the Kingdom. I need a partner who believes as deeply as I do and is not ashamed to witness or share his faith with others and who actually loves and values his relationship in Christ.
