I'm Melissa. 24. I'm a singer most of the time which keeps me on the go a lot. I love joking around and I have a rather sarcastic sense of humor (I think it comes naturally form growing up with boys). I'm 5'11 ... tall I know ... which makes it hard to find guys to date. I am very eclectic and though I love my jeans and flip flops I also like dressing up when I have to! I like to go out and do pretty much anything ... but also like to stay home and read/watch a movie(i own like 600) and cuddle with someone special. I do get my nails done and like to wear make-up, but I am also the girl who was just a councilor for a youth camp and wasnt afraid of sleeping in a cabin, killing spiders, and cooking pancakes and bacon over a campfire for 30 kids lol. I'm a little bit of both worlds.
Just because I'm one of those "submissive, good, do anything for you, Jesus-freak girls"; doesn't mean I don't know how to be a "sexy, stiletto wearing,social butterfly". If you're at church: I'm the one on stage singing praises; if you're out and about: I'm the one surrounded by people smiling; if you're on the town: I'm the one swinging on the dance floor, sipping on the H2O, and singing karaoke; and if you're at my house: I'm the one serving up the food, fun, and flicks.
My Ideal Person:
What I'm looking for: a tall, fun, cute, older (than me) christian man who will hold me while I sleep and kiss me on the forehead when I wake up, who will put his arms around me while I'm standing in the kitchen cooking, who will look at me like I'm the only one who matters, someone who's hand fits perfectly with mine, someone who will let me dress him up, someone who I can love, trust, and grow with.......

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
It's Everything! It is a lifestyle and relationship, not just religion. I choose to live like a christian, and expect others to also. Everyone makes mistakes, and that is why we need the blood of Jesus, but he did die for us so we should act and behave like we believe and care that he did.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land."
(prayer can do anything if you trust God)
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you declares the lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
(I have been going through really hard family situations lately, and this help give me comfort)
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I think Jesus should be the base of anything ... especially the most important human relationship you will ever have.
