I've recently relocated here to the sunshine state. I've worked here for about 11 months durring the 2004 and 2005 huricane seasons as a FEMA inspector. Now I'm down here for good. I'm an upbeat guy that isn't very complicated. I love and miss my daughters back in Michigan more than anything. You might find find me in the woods, I've been known to go there searching for solitude and an occasional golf ball. That sound you hear could be me tapping on this keyboard or strumming my gutiar. You may see me at Duffy's with my Red on rooting for the Wings, or sporting my rally cap cheering on the Tigers. I've spent some time with those girls gone wild triplets at the beach a couple of summers ago. You may have heard about them, Katrina, Rita and Wilma. Most every weekend, I can be spotted Calvary Chapel. Who knows, I may even get lucky someday and be found with my arms around you.
I saw this poem one day while searching the web. It hits home for me. I trust your search leads you home.
When I say, "I am a Christian," I'm not shouting, "I've been saved!" I'm whispering, "I get lost! That's why I chose this way"
When I say, "I am a Christian," I don't speak with human pride I'm confessing that I stumble-needing God to be my guide
When I say, "I am a Christian," I'm not trying to be strong I'm professing that I'm weak and pray for strength to carry on
When I say, "I am a Christian," I'm not bragging of success I'm admitting that I've failed and cannot ever pay the debt
When I say, "I am a Christian," I don't think I know it all I submit to my confusion asking humbly to be taught
When I say, "I am a Christian," I'm not claiming to be perfect My flaws are far too visible but God believes I'm worth it
When I say, "I am a Christian," I still feel the sting of pain I have my share of heartache which is why I seek His name
When I say, "I am a Christian," I do not wish to judge I have no authority--I only know I'm loved

My Ideal Person:
Tenderness, Grace and Mercy. Truth, Honesty and Consistancy. Laughter, Tears and Memories. Someone who will have need of, receive and appreciate the gifts that I have to offer. It is my hope to return the favor. My line of work takes me out of town for weeks to months at a time. I do inspections for the federal government in order to provide aid to families victimized by disasters such as; floods, hurricanes, earthquakes as well as the NYC WTC bombing. I would like to find someone who has the ability to sometimes accompany me, or at least be tolerant of my job. I'm looking for someone who knows how to laugh at life's prat falls, dust herself off and get back on the dance floor. Someone who enjoys having a good time. A hockey and sports fan in general who enjoys attending games. Knows how to use a pool cue and 9 iron. Most of all wants to have a loving, tactile man in her life. If this sounds like fun, then drop me a line or two and we'll see where life leads us.
