I'm down to earth, positive minded, and looking to meet new people. I work hard and love my career, but I think my biggest accomplishment and blessing has been being a mother. I was widowed when my children were young and I know I could not have raised my children without the Lord. I like to travel, whether it be to the beach, a weekend escape, an amusement park or Alaska. (I've actually driven to Alaska twice when my children and I did missionary work there.) I enjoy spectator sports and I would rather watch football than go to the mall shopping. I try to go to a couple of Nascar races every year with the Bristol night race being my favorite. I attempt to golf once in awhile and I am active in a few fantasy sports leagues. One of my favorite verses is Jeremiah 29:11.
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for someone who is confident, but not arrogant. Someone who can carry on a conversation. I like people who truly appreciate life and are genuinely thankful for their blessings. It would be nice to also find someone that likes doing some of the same things that I like doing. (It is fun to try new things sometimes too) But most importantly, I am looking for someone who is growing with the Lord.
