My name is April, & I am the oldest of eight children. My family & I live on a dairy farm where I work part-time milking cows. My siblings and I have all been homeschooled, and my mom has been a faithful wife, mother, and homemaker my whole life. It is my longing to follow in her footsteps by marrying, being a godly wife & homemaker, home-schooling my children, and raising a large family for the glory of God.
My Ideal Person:
I would like to meet someone who is firm in his convictions and a good leader. I believe in Biblical headship, and that a wife should submit to her husband's authority. It is important to me to marry someone who would not send me to work outside of the home and who would want me to be a homemaker. I believe that it is the responsibility of parents to educate their own children, and I would like to meet someone who agrees and shares my desire to have a large family. It is also very important that I meet someone who is Calvinistic, who deeply believes in Gods absolute sovereignty over all of creation, and who shares a similar worldview with me. My family would favor courtship, or some form of supervised dating vs. going out on dates alone.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I was raised in a Christian family, and have grown into the Christian faith from my earliest childhood. I am striving, by God's grace, to bring every detail of my life into submission to Him. God is teaching me to have a Christian worldview that totally encompasses my life. I want to bring every thought, word, and deed captive to the word of God. I want to live my life in service to Him. Soli Deo Gloria!
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Romans 12:2 "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
I think this verse speaks very strongly to having a Biblical Worldview. Transformation starts with the "renewing of your mind", and good works are the necessary consequence. I am very passionate about having a Christian worldview. It is so easy for us as Christians to absorb traces of ungodly worldviews. It seems that more often than not, the most subtly portrayed worldviews are the most damaging to a Christian. I am striving to strengthen my mind to be able to see through the sugar-coated worldviews of the culture. I am on the defense, guarding my mind from being distorted by the ungodly worldviews of those who do not follow Christ.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
First of all, the Bible prescribes it, so a relationship with an unbeliever isn't even an option. Secondly, it is very important to me that I meet a Godly man who shares a similar worldview with me.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I was born in and have always lived in PA. I have been to Florida, Indiana, and most of the North East states. I would really love to travel more.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Spending time with my family and friends, vacationing, shopping (with money), listening to music, making candy, and cruising around in my Jeep on a hot summer day with the top down.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I wake up at 3am to milk the cows. I usually work until around 8am. Then I clean up, get dressed, and take a nap. I spend the rest of the day helping my Mom around the house, and helping make the meals. My Dad leads my family in Bible study after lunch and dinner every day. It is undoubtedly the most important time of the day for all of us. I am very close with my family and we openly discuss things together. In the evening, my family usually watches a movie together, and then I go to bed.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Personal:
To be the best wife, and mother I can be. To be the most amazing hostess, and an excellent cook. To always be ready to give to others in need.
Spiritual:
To grow closer in my walk with God, have a deeper faith, and a better understanding of spiritual things. To grow in my prayer life, and in my fellowship with others.
