My Ideal Person:
Usually I do not lack for words, but this is difficult. I am waiting for a man who is as comfortable alone as he is with me. I suppose that would indicate confidence, but it seems that it's more than that...perhaps a man who enjoys his own company. I am waiting for a man who is equally comfortable in a tuxedo as he is jeans...it seems to be a good indicator of flexibility. However, that said, I spend a great deal of time in jeans.

I don't know that the level of education is as important as a man who uses his brain and with whom I share similar world views. It's stimulating to discuss global issues...not so good to argue about them.

I am waiting for a man who likes to travel and seeks adventure... one for whom new places aren't intimidating. Although I can cook, and did so for quite a few years, I'm waiting for a man who doesn't mind sharing life responsibilities...someone who's not confused because I can fix the sprinkler system.

I'm waiting for a man who is comfortable in his own skin and strives to keep it healthy and active...and the rest of the body the skin holds together! I would welcome new friends and family...and would enjoy becoming part of his life as well as welcoming him into mine.

I am waiting for a kind and generous man...one who doesn't frown upon my own brand of charity...whether it be the Salvation Army or the guy on the street corner. I am waiting for a man who laughs deeply and even at himself and one who has participated in his life not just observed it...far too many regrets if you don't get in the game. I am waiting for a man who still displays a bit of a rascal in that smile.

I am waiting...and God is a matchmaker.
