You have your career and interests. So do I. You will always need time and room to do what is important to you. So will I. But knowing at the end of the day there's someone to be a haven from the troubles and trials of everyday life can make our full and happy lives just a bit sweeter. You are not perfect, and it's okay. Your excitement for Christ, zest for life, generous heart, honesty, openness, and your responsible spirit more than cover your flaws. Life is only so long. If we choose to spend our time being bitter and resentful, we waste precious moments that we could spend loving one another. After all, even Mary Poppins was only "practically" perfect.
