Thanks for stopping by. I am originally from NH and grew up in a large family (11 kids), yes, you read it right...lol I am the middle child with 4 older sisters and 1 older brother, 4 younger brothers and 1 younger sister. My dad passed away when I was 13. My mother raised all 11 of us, the oldest was 18 and the youngest was 5. Although we did not have all the conveniences that other families had, we did have each other and with the help of God, we had a great christian life. I learned at a very young age that life will always challenge you. How we respond to these challenges is our choice. When I was 25 years old, my second son passed away. I thought my life was over. I could not believe that He would give me a son and then take him away from me. Timmy was only 2 1/2 years old. After a period of denial, I realized that Timmy did not belong to me but was lent to me. He belonged to God who was in need of a little angel. That is why I believe I have my personal angel in heaven.
Growing up with 5 sisters was challenging but it taught me how a woman wants to be treated and respected. I was a quick learner...that is why I know how to treat a woman with respect and dignity.
There is more but I will save that for later.
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for a woman who believes in the Lord and herself. Someone who is loving, caring, honest. Someone who understands that for every negative in life there is a positive and that the more you dwell on the negative, you become negative.
When people ask me what type of woman I am looking for, I respond with it's not what I am looking for but what I am not looking for. I am not looking for a woman who wants to "change me" but rather a woman who will "help" me change. I am not perfect by no means but I do know how to treat a woman and she should know that men require love and respect also. In any relationship, there will be challenges. She should be someone who is willing to face those challenges and know that she is not alone.
