My faith is the glue of my life. It is what defines me, and what compels me to be and do better today than I did yesterday. However, I'm a big work in progress.
My family and friends would say that I'm outgoing, athletic, loyal, and speak my mind. I love to travel around the U.S. and abroad.
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for someone who places Christ at the center of their life and follows through with their beliefs.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is extremely important to me, and it is an essential trait for my future husband and any guy that I date.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Romans 8:28 is the one that I cling to during the rough times in life.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
We were created as creatures that need relationships. Although I have many non-Christian friends, the people that I trust and rely on the most are fellow Christians. This is one area of my life that I need to be able to share with a mate in my quest to know God better. Besides if I believe God is God, which I absolutely do, how could I ever be with someone who doesn't?
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in rural Western PA and I loved it. However, I'm very interested in traveling all over the world. Most, if not all, of my traveling outside of the U.S. has been on missions trips. I've been to Trinidad and Tobage, Peru, Prince Edward Island, Grand Caymon Islands, Cozumel. A European trip is a definite must.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I teach seniors English and for one year history as well. When the school day is over I coach junior high volleyball in the fall and varsity basketball throughout the winter. For 3 months, my Saturdays are devoted to an Elementary basketball clinic that the boy's head coach and I started. I attend church on Sundays and also a small group that meets once a week. I love to keep busy, but there are times when I step back from it all to get a breather before re-entering my life.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I need to become a better Christian. My father is a Methodist minister, and my parents did an extremely good job raising me in the Christian faith. I am something of a perfectionist, though, and I am frustrated by my own shortcomings as a Christian. This is why finding a Christian mate is vital so that we can be each other's encouragement and inspiration as we grow closer together serving God.
