I am a very spiritual woman, and unapologetically so. To be equally yoked with the right one is essential in my DNA and in the plan of God for my life (and yours). Most of you can relate to the phrase onboard with the vision. For me, being united with the right one means that we unfalteringly share the same vision for our lives, which is uniquely and intricately woven into our mission and ministry. We dont live entirely in the temporal, but have our eyes set on the eternal.
As you follow Jesus, I will follow you. Im not going anywhere or doing anything that I dont sense the Lord leading. This is not a threat, its a promise that I will seek the Lord in everything, and be your helpmate to discern the will of God. I am Davids Abigail, and I hope you can hear my heart in that.
I can be led, but I cant be driven. If your view of biblical marriage is rooted in submission, beware. Before being your wife, I am a disciple of Christ. As a disciple of Christ, we are all instructed to submit ourselves one to another in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Yes, Sarah called Abraham lord and respected him. But Godly leadership, Godly shepherds, do not lord it over those who they lead and protect. The Good Shepherd had followers because He laid down His life. Those who followed Him did so because He oozed sacrificial love and that love cast out all fear. He had no need to command them to follow. They did so (and do so today) because He gave Himself as a living sacrifice for them.
I value peace and truth. Jesus was the supreme peacemaker yet He made war on the enemies of truth. He was confrontational and conciliatory at the same time. He was wise as a serpent and gentle as a dove. He was the Lamb, and He is the Lion.
I dont care about the appearance of stability. To me, stability means you have not fainted in the face of adversity, and though you have fallen seven times, you have found your feet on the solid rock of foundational things ..eight times. Stability looks far different in the spiritual eye than it does in the natural eye. What the world values as stability may look a lot like mediocrity in the eternal view. If what we set our hearts on is only temporal, we may find it is wood, hay and stubble and will perish in the fires of God.
I will not judge you on your accomplishments, or your possessions, or your bank account, or your track record. Some of the greatest saints in the history of mankind would have been judged and discarded by religion and these present value systems of this earth as losers. I do not possess the same measuring stick as the world. My value system is not defined by how much or how little, how successful, how reputable (beware when men speak well of you), but how deep and how wide is the river of God that flows through your veins, washing and cleansing, carrying the Power of God to sustain, heal and deliver
first yourself, then others through your witness of that great Power working within you. You will be humble yet bold in your declaration of the God Who reigns supreme in your life.

Someone who understands the greatest revelation of all, is LOVE. True love is freeing, and it devours all obstacles of the heart, mind and soul because true love casts out fear and conquers all. It breaks down all resistance and indeed is irresistible. It has the power, and not just the form.
Its nice if you have a beautiful home, a great job, and a financial portfolio that gives the illusion of security, but this is not the measure of a man. Jesus proved this in such a profound way when the rich young ruler asked him how to inherit eternal life. Jesus said go and sell all that you have and give it to the poor. Oh dear. Why did Jesus have to go there? The truth is that all we have and all weve gathered in material things are worthless except to prove where our hearts lie. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Publican vs. Pharisee I am not looking for a perfect man, but a humble man. I will not judge you on your past, but on your resolve. A heart that is humble cannot be hard, because it is broken and therefore, the things of God have an entrance point.
You have been through some fires in your life and you are not bitter, but better. Though you struggled with your circumstances, you submitted it all and the outcome to the Lord. You know though Ye slay me, yet will I trust Thee is not just a trite saying, but for you, it is the absolute expression of complete submission and faith. You know it intimately, because you are it.
