Interacting as caregiver to cook and serve breakfast, then returning to make supper for an elderly couple from church who live nearby is soo rewarding. Tonight I popped my casserole creation out of the fridge and into the oven. They looked hungry, so we ate American cheese on sesame crackers, just chatting until the meal was ready. My lady friend chatted, was ready for bed, and I dried her laundry..

I try to stay busy. Usually my pace is steady, not frantic. Someone who has active interests would make a nice balance.
