I am 44. A native Floridian. A die hard romantic (flowers, notes, compassion, gestures of love and affection, little pleasant surprises, etc. so you never doubt you are loved) with a great sense of humor. I have never met a stranger and genuinely like learning about, being around, and helping others. I don't mind helping around the house. Cooking, laundry, child care, housekeeping etc. but won't be taken advantage of, just as you wouldn't want to be. I work as a paramedic and have been in this field for 26 yrs. I also attend college and am working on my bachelors degree, and I teach emergency medical classes when I can. I have two children; a son age 15 and a daughter age 10, that visit me a couple times per month and live in Central Florida with their mother. I am not picky about the food I eat. I am not demanding, controlling or jealous and believe in monogamy, honesty, loyalty, sharing, random acts of kindness and giving. I do NOT drink or smoke. I am not perfect nor do I expect you to be. I believe chivalry is not dead. I am a Christian and am looking for the same in my partner. I am looking for someone that understands that relationships don't just work on themselves.(See Romans 12:9 below)
I'd just like to add...
I enjoy a variety of things and have many interests. This will be part of getting to know me... Some include (in no particular order: Camping, fishing, the ocean, photography, church, boating, traveling, trying new things, barbecue, NASCAR*, football*, *(although these are secondary to attention given to my partner/family when needed; they take precedence), a good restaurant as funds allow, a good movie with the partner/family, snuggling, random acts of kindness, and many many more! I believe in the philosophy of God first , you second, and me third!

What am I looking for in a partner?
I am interested in a Christian woman that knows how to show affection and is comfortable being in a relationship. I am looking for someone that is communicative and works things out rather than runs and hides or gives the cold shoulder , or does things from spite. I want someone to cherish me as I cherish and honor them. Looking for a respectable woman that likes outdoors, adventure, yet cleans up nice. I am looking for someone from mid 30's to late 40's that takes care of themselves and it shows. I accept most body types but am not attracted to extremely obese women, but I like from slender to "some cushion" I would like to meet a woman that understands the biblical principles of what love should be. If you aren't sure, please just pick up a bible (NIV version is great) sometime and read 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, Romans 12:9-10, and also about how a man should love a woman in Ephesians5:25-30 and 31-33. No I am NOT a holy roller, just want to make sure I am clear about what I believe love should be. If you believe these things and are sincere about them, then you just might be the one for me
