I am a bit older ... but I can remember when friendship meant something. It was not self serving and it had no hidden agendas. It was right and good and pure and something that made life much sweeter. I know that a few people still understand that. I also understand there are a great many women who say they are looking for freindship; when what they really mean is not friendship but rather someone to date & if that is not posible..they have no use for friendship at all! The good news is that it is okay for a single woman to be friends with a married man. Maybe you can't handle that... but please don't judge others based on your own inability to do that righteously! Even though being older I am fortunate to be able to still work out and fortunate to not look quite my age yet ... so I am very active ... bicycling the wonderful trials in Florida is my favorite form of exercise.
My Ideal Person:
Another believer looking for intelligent conversation, with varied interests, humorous, positive, encouraging perhaps with even some goal sharing or sharing of our personal spiritual journeys. Appreciates the value of quality, long term friendship. The ability to meet occasionally for some activity such as an art show, jazz fest, musical concert or even outdoor activity is optional of course; but a plus.
