Society says appearance is the most important quality of all in the " mate selection market". I'm very skeptical about its value because of its incredible failure rate.The external and superficial qualities tend to snag our attention, but the virtues that may contribute to a person's being recognized as a diamond in the rough are largely ones that reside at the center of the person.---those relating to character, personality, kindness, unselfishness etc. Must of us, including myself, have failed to assess a person's virtues---maybe these virtues are hidden under less desirable external features, or maybe because they have never been exposed because of the person's shyness or unassertive style. Be careful not to toss out this diamond thinking that she is just a rock!
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for a cool, confident guy who neither cocky nor arrogant. I want someone who is comfortable in his own skin, have a strong sense of self and aren't afraid to expose his flaws. You can be yourself around me without feeling judged. The astmosphere around me is that of freedom and liberal thiking. I'm pretty tolerant of others weaknesses because i'm not perfect myself. However, I will not tolerate any mistreatments or disrepects from anyone. I'm secure within myself to know when a relationship is not working and let go.
