I am a college recruiter in Huntsville, AL. I don't know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I am blessed. I am surrounded by good friends, a loving family, and some great scenery. I love crunchy peanut butter, thunderstorms, British humor and books about theology.
My Ideal Person:
I love to joke around, and I also love to have philosophical discussions, so someone who could match both interests would be ideal. But more importantly, someone that strives to please God more than he strives to please me.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I live, breathe, and struggle in my faith. I was brought up in the church, found my own faith in college, and now I couldn't imagine a day without knowing that grace covers me.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Psalms 27:13-14. SO reassuring! And Job 41, the whole chapter, for when I get too pridefull.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I don't think it would be fair to either of the people in a relationship if our world views were completely different. I want someone who, if necessary, would choose God over me--because I have to be willing to do the same.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Florence, Alabama right on the Tennessee river. I have travelled to over half of the states in the US, spent a summer in Europe, and been to Canada twice. I recently got back from mission trips to Scotland and Lima, Peru. My favorite places would be my grandparents' farm (sentimental) and Frielassing, Germany just over the border from Salzburg, Austria. It's beautiful and quaint.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
We have a women's prayer group that is one of the biggest blessings I've ever had. Our Young Professionals ministry is dynamic and I love it. At church I help with children's church and the nursery so I can play with little babies.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Work from 8:30-6:30 (we have half-days on Fridays), and then whatever YP activity I can jump into, I do. I cook, I clean a little, I watch TV with my roommate and we mock America's Next Top Model. I talk on the phone to friends around the globe.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I need to work on humility and contentment the most. I know I have a wonderfull life, but sometimes I let circumstances determine happiness.
