Who am I? That is hard to say. I am continually growing. There is an old song that I used to sing in children's church called "He's Still Working on Me" and I definitely think that describes me. Just when I think I have it figured out, God comes down and surprises me again. I work a full-time job in an office and I just finished school where I studied massage therapy. I know that God will use what I have just learned to minister to women and men who are hurting physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
My Ideal Person:
I love what the Word says about relationships. It talks about men being the head of the household and a man loving his wife as Christ loved the church. I want that kind of man. One who treasures his relationship with Christ and will love me as Christ loves the church. I want someone who will share my love of music and ministry, but above all loves Jesus more than anything.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I think throughout this entire profile I have shown how important my faith is to me. It is not just my faith, it is the walk with Christ.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Psalm 139 is my all time favorite, but there are so many others. I also like Ephesians 3:14-21.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
The Word says that we should not be "unequally yoked with unbelievers." I have seen so many realtionships struggle and even fall apart because one is serving the Lord and the other is not. Being a Christian is not just something I do, it is who I am. You cannot place a human with an animal, so why put a Christian with someone whos not? The human is not going to act the same way as the animal and the animal is not going to act the same way as the human. It just won't work. Yes, I have seen relationships work when one is a Christian and the other is not, but the problems and arguments are great. The best feeling is knowing that you can worship together with your mate.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in GA and I am truly a southern girl. Some have called me a "redneck", but I wouldn't go that far. I can say that about most of my family, and we have a lot of fun because of it.
I haven't traveled to many places inside the United States. I have never been out of the country, but I hope to someday. The most extreme place I have been is to Alaska. It was breathtaking. I would love to go back again. The first time I was on a mission trip, but I would like to go back and just enjoy the surroundings.
If I had one place to chose right now to go, it would be Italy.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Most activities involve church. I love doing the music and working with the kids. I have just begun ministering with the youth on the drama/dance team.
Other than church, I like going to the movies, bowling, sporting events, the beach, parks, the theater, concerts, and a lot of other things.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
My daily routine during the week is get up, say a few words of prayer, get ready for work, feed the cat, escape out the door before the cat runs out, head to work, read the Word and a short devotional, Work for 8-9 hours, head home, possibly stopping at the store or a fast food restaurant, get home, feed the cat, cook dinner if I haven't stopped, watch a little TV, eat dinner, play with the cat, say some words of thanks to the Lord for the wonderful day, go to bed. On Wednesdays I go from work to church and then to music practice after church. Saturdays are usually cleaning days and getting ready for Sundays and sometimes a day to "veg-out". Sundays are church all day with morning and evening services and drama/dance team practice in between.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I want to grow in my relationship with Christ. He is calling me to more prayer and fasting. OUr church has just come off a corporate fast and we are already seeing results. I am not perfect by no means, but I just want to live everyday and be please to Him.
Personal goals are to take the test for Massage Therapy and be licensed and start some other classes to benefit the spa type business. I would like to eventually open my own spa that not only ministers to the physical, but also to the emotional and spiritual.
I also would like to lose weight, which I am working on so I can be more able to minister the way God has intended.
